AngkorShop Terms of Use

AngkorLife Shopping (hereinafter referred to as "AngkorLife", "the Company", “we”) provides users (hereinafter referred to as "Users", "Customers", "Members") with a platform to browse, buy, sell, pay and ship goods and services online. These Terms of Use ("Terms") set forth your rights and obligations regarding the use of the AngkorLife mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the Services, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and any relevant policies, including the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Return/Refund Policy, and Merchant Policy (as applicable).

 

1.    Definitions

A.      Account Holder: An individual or corporation who registers an account to use the Service

B.      Buyer: A person who purchases goods or services

C.      Seller/Merchant: A person who registers or sells goods or services on the marketplace

D.     Content: Any material displayed on the Service, such as text, images, videos, reviews, comments, trademarks, logos, software, data, etc., or uploaded or provided by users or sellers.

E.      Order: A request to purchase goods/services submitted by a buyer with the intention to pay.

F.      Terms and Policies: All rules announced by us, including these Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Return/Refund Policy, Merchant Policy, and Community Guides

 

2.    Applicability & Changes

A.      These Terms are the basic rules for the use of the Service. Additional terms may apply to certain services or promotions, and in case of conflict, the special terms will prevail.

B.      The Company may revise the terms and conditions to change laws and regulations, improve services, etc. In the event of a change, we will notify you in an appropriate way such as a site notice or email or app notification, and if you continue to use the site after the effective date, you will be deemed to have agreed to the changed terms.

C.      If you do not agree to the changes to the Terms, you may stop using the Service.

 

3.    Eligibility & Account

A.      Age: Only those who are at least 18 years old or have legal capacity as stipulated by local laws  can create accounts and trade. Minors must have the consent of their legal representatives.

B.      Provide accurate information: Members must provide and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in procedures such as registration, payment, delivery, and refund, and are responsible for damages caused by false information.

C.      Account security: Login information (ID/password/two-factor authentication, etc.) must be managed by the person himself, and  it is prohibited to share or transfer it to a third party. If you suspect unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately.

D.     Account Suspension/Termination: We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts without prior notice if there are reasonable reasons, such as violation of the Terms of Use, illegal activities, fraudulent transactions, infringement of others' rights, or security risks.

 

4.    Service Scope & Platform Role

A.      AngkorLife may operate in the form of a marketplace with third-party sellers.

B.      The third-party seller's product information, inventory, price, shipping, returns/refunds, etc. are the responsibility of the seller, and we provide a platform and payment intermediary for transactions.

C.      The service is based on delivery and payment within Cambodia, but separate policies may apply for shipping and exporting to certain countries.

D.     The provision of services may  be temporarily suspended due to reasons such as system maintenance, periodic maintenance, or force majeure, and the Company will notify you in advance if possible.

 

5.    Products, Ordering & Contract Formation

A.      Product/Price Indication: Information such as product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, promotions, and availability is provided by the seller or us,  and may contain display errors and typos. In the event of a material error, we may cancel/reject the order and issue a full refund.

B.      Order flow: Enter payment information → cart → confirm summary → place order after payment is completed . **Confirmation** is separate from payment approval and may be confirmed after preparation for shipment or inventory verification.

C.      Contract Formation: (i) Shipment Notification or (ii) Delivery of Goods, whichever is specified in the Policy. Digital Goods are established when download/access authorization is granted.

D.     Cancellation/Change: Cancellation/change may be possible up to the time of shipment, but it is limited by individual seller or product type (customized/fresh/digital license, etc.).

 

6.    (Pricing, Taxes & Currency

A.      Currency: The denomination and settlement currency is KHR (Cambodian Riel) or USD (depending on policy), and the final bill amount may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.

B.      Taxes/Fees: Local laws may apply value-added tax (VAT) or other taxes, and fees may apply for payment, delivery, and payment services .

C.      Price changes: Prices may change due to promotions, system errors, exchange rate fluctuations, etc. If a significant error is identified after payment is completed, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

 

7.    Payments

A.      Means: You can use our supported methods, such as credit/debit cards, wallets (wallets), bank transfers, local payment methods, and third-party payment agents (PGs).

B.      Approval/Rejection: Payment approval is provided by the credit card company· PG and bank.  Payments may be declined for reasons such as fraudulent transaction detection or exceeding your credit limit.

C.      Wallet/Points (if applicable): Accrual, expiration, and redemption conditions are subject to separate policies. Points/credits are not cash and may  be subject to refund or transfer restrictions.

D.     Refund Processing: In principle, refunds will be made to the original payment method,  and there may be a delay of business days depending on the financial institution/PG processing schedule.

 

8.    Delivery, Title & Risk

A.      Delivery options/costs/durations: Varies depending on product, region, and logistical status, and will be announced at the checkout point or checkout stage.

B.      Risk transfer: Risk is transferred at the time of delivery to the carrier or  at the time of customer receipt,  whichever is specified in the policy.

C.      Inspection/Missing/Damage Report: You must report the missing, damage, or misdelivery without delay (e.g., within 48 hours) after receipt  to receive appropriate compensation (redelivery/exchange/refund).

D.     Address error/absence of recipient: Returns, delays, and additional costs due to incorrect customer information are the responsibility of the customer.

 

9.    Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

A.      Simple change of mind returns: Whether the product can be returned within N days of receipt (e.g., 7–14 days) depends on the product type and seller's policy. Damaged packaging, signs of use, hygienic and unopenable items, and customization may be restricted from returning.

B.      Defects/defects: In the event of a manufacturing defect or a deviation from the label or advertisement, appropriate measures will be provided during exchange/repair/refund.

C.      Return Procedure: Issuance of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number→ Refund/exchange after collection → inspection by designated courier or guided method.

D.     Shipping cost burden: In principle, the customer is responsible for a simple change of mind, and the seller is responsible for defective/incorrect delivery (according to policies and laws)

 

10. User Content: Reviews & Comments

A.      Posting responsibility: Reviews, questions, comments, etc. are  the opinions of the user himself, and we do not preemptively filter or guarantee them.

B.      Prohibited content

                           i.          Infringement of Rights of Others (Copyright/Trademark/Personal Information)

                          ii.          Defamation/Discrimination/Hate/Obscenity/Violence/Illegal Promotion

                         iii.          Spam/Advertising/Promotion

                        iv.          Content containing viruses and malware

C.      License: The user grants us  a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license (use, reproduction, modification, distribution, and display). This is limited to the purpose of service operation, quality improvement, and marketing (within a reasonable range).

D.     Monitoring/Deletion: We may modify, private, or remove content that violates our terms or is inappropriate  without prior notice.

 

11. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

A.      Violation of laws and regulations, illegal, fraudulent, money laundering-related transactions, infringement of intellectual property rights

B.      False orders, bulk purchases for resale purposes, price confusion, review manipulation

C.      Service abuse such as hacking, scraping, reverse engineering, and use of automated bots

D.     Unauthorized use of other people's accounts/payment methods, invasion of privacy

E.      Arbitrarily framing (iFrame) and mirroring the service screen to cause misidentification

F.      Use of trademarks, logos, and content without our express written permission.

 

12.  Intellectual Property

A.      The Services and all content therein (text, graphics, UI/UX, logos, trademarks, software, databases, etc.) are the property of AngkorLife or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

B.      Users may access and view the content only within the scope of personal and non-commercial purposes, and reproduction, distribution, modification, and creation of derivative works are prohibited (except for separate permission).

C.      Use of Trademarks: Our trademarks, logos, and trade marks are prohibited without written permission.

D.     Please submit a report of infringement to [Customer Service Email/Address].

 

13.  Third-Party Links & iFrames

A.      The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We do not warrant and are not responsible for the content, policies, or safety of such sites.

B.      It is prohibited to alter the appearance or display of the service page with "iFrame" or insert it in a misleading way without written approval.

C.      Specific organizations' hyperlink policies are subject to prior written approval. If approved, links may be made in the form of company name/URL/reasonable description, but must not cause misleading sponsorship/endorsement/affiliation.

 

14.  Privacy & Cookies

A.      The collection, use, storage, and sharing of personal information are in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

B.      The Services may use cookies/similar technologies to maintain login status, shopping cart, usability improvement, and analytics/marketing. For more information and how to set this up, please see our Cookie Policy.

C.      Consent is obtained if required by law , and cookies can be managed in browser settings or with separate tools (some functions may be restricted)

 

15.  Disclaimers

A.      The Services and Content are provided on an "as is" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted use, etc.

B.      Third-party sellers, logistics companies, payment agencies, external links· We are not responsible for the conduct or performance of external services, such as APIs.

C.      Even with reasonable safeguards in place , security incidents/data loss/service disruptions may occur.

 

16.  Limitation of Liability

A.      To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, unavailable, or business interruption.

B.      In no event will our total liability limit  exceed the amount actually paid by the customer (or the face value of the points/wallet credit) for that transaction.

C.      However, this limitation of liability does not apply to areas where death/bodily injury, intentional or gross negligence, and the limitation of liability are prohibited by law.

 

17.  Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

A.      All disputes relating to these Terms and the use of the Services shall be  governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

B.      Disputes will first be negotiated/mediated through the customer center, and if they are not resolved,

                           i.          filed a complaint with the competent court in Phnom Penh,

                          ii.          In accordance with our policy, an Arbitration/Mediation process is available (optional clause may be set).

C.      If there are mandatory regulations related to international consumer and e-commerce, those regulations shall take precedence.

 

18.  Seller Policy – If Applicable

A.      Sellers  must provide accurate product information, price, inventory, delivery deadlines, and return/refund terms, and must not make false, exaggerated, or deceptive representations.

B.      Order processing/customer service: Orders must be approved, shipped, and responded to within the specified deadline, and immediate notice must be given in case of delays or out-of-stock.

C.      Legal Compliance: Comply with relevant laws and regulations, including product safety, labeling, import/customs clearance, taxes, intellectual property rights, and consumer protection.

D.     Fees/Settlements: Platform fees, advertising costs, and payment cycles and methods are in accordance with the Merchant Agreement/Dashboard Policy.

E.      Violations of the terms  may result in restrictions on exposure, penalties, withholding payments, or account termination.

 

19.  Notices & Contact

A.      Important notices, such as changes to terms and conditions, service announcements, and security alerts,  may be provided as app announcements, app notifications, emails, SMS, etc.

20.  Termination & Suspension

A.      Users may terminate their accounts at any time. However, the existing order/settlement/refund process will still apply.

B.      The Company may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service for reasonable reasons, such as violation of the Terms of Use, violation of laws and regulations, cheating, or the need for risk management.

 

21.  Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform due to reasons beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war/terrorism, government regulations, infectious diseases, large-scale power outages and communication failures, logistics disruptions, etc.

 

22.  Assignment, Severability, Entire Agreement

A.      The User  may not transfer or delegate the rights and obligations under these Terms of Use without written consent. The Company may transfer within a reasonable range, such as business succession.

B.      Even if a part of the terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

C.      These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the use of the Services.

 

23.  Support, Reporting & Rights Protection

A.      Order/Payment/Shipping Inquiry

B.      Requesting a Return/Refund

C.      Security/Fraud Reporting

D.     Intellectual Property Infringement Report

Each of the above issues will be received through our customer support channels or dedicated forms, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

 

Other matters not defined in these Terms shall be governed by AngkorLife's Terms.
